Private Practice, ReCap, Strange Bedfellows – 10/29/09
This week’s episode of Private Practice had Violet in a conflicted state trying to decide whether or not she should was up to testifying against her attacker, Katie. A serious complication threatens the fetuses of two of Naomi’s former patients, Zoe and Amelia and Charlotte joins the Oceanside Wellness Group.
Violet tries to testify against Katie, her attacker, but ends up running off the stand. Violet pays a visit to Katie in jail – at Katie’s request. Katie wants Violet to testify on her behalf to which Violet responds that Katie should rot in jail. Violet eventually returns to testify against Katie but states while on the stand testifying that Katie was delusional when she attacked her.
Violet returns to see Katie and tells her that she hates what Katie did to her but that Katie was delusional the night she attacked her.
Two of Naomi’s former patients, whose fetuses were switched upon implantation, return to the practice admist complications. One of the babies is at risk and the only hope for the baby is surgery. Unfortunately, the baby dies during surgery. Although Amelia’s baby died she is still carrying Zoe’s baby. When Zoe’s estranged husband returns to her – this causes Amelia to be very upset. Amelia leave the hospital saying she is keeping Zoe’s baby.
Charlotte finally gets into the practice as a Sexologist. Cooper is not happy – he wanted her in the practice as a doctor not a Sexologist. Coop can’t handle Charoltte’s new career, comes home drunk and makes very rude sex comments to Charlotte. Charlotte kicks Coop out of the bed. Charlotte confronts Coop and tells him that she is a stong woman and he had better deal with it or leave.
Pete visits Violet and confronts her about “helping” Katie. Pete is angry that Violet stood up for Katie. Violet finally realizes that Pete lost something when she was attacked too – her. Pete asks Violet to come back to him.

Tonight’s episode had the 2 women who are carrying each
other’s fetuses, Zoe and Amelia. I swear that Amelia looks
enough like Brian Benben (Sheldon) to be his sister…could that be
true??? Thanks! Diane
