Chelsea Clinton Engaged to Marc Mezvinsky, No Longer Daddy’s Little Girl

Chelsea Clinton

Chelsea Clinton is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky. Chelsea, 29, is the only child of the former President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She and Mezvinsky, 31, the son of former Penn. Rep. Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky and former Iowa Rep. Edward Mezvinsky, became childhood friends in Washington, D.C., and they  both attended Stanford University.  They began dating in 2005.

The couple sent out an e-mail Friday morning, (Nov. 27):

“We’re sorry for the mass e-mail but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.”

I hope we are there to celebrate, congratulations!!
