Have U Heard??

Angelina Jolie arrived at Miami International Airport on Sunday(Feb.7) to meet up with Brad and Maddox for the Super Bowl.  Brad and their eldest son flew in a day earlier to gear up for the game.  The trio cheered the New Orleans Saints to 31-17 victory against the Indianapolis Colts. 

The Oscar winning actress jetted of to the Dominican Republic the next day to visit Haitian children who were being treated after the earthquake in their homeland.   According to the AFP, Angelina and Gonzalo Vargas Llosa (son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa) toured the pediatric wing of Dario Contreras Hospital in Santo Domingo with its director Hector Quezada.

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey co-hosted the 4th annual Saturday Night Spectacular held in Miami at The Bank of America Tower.  The night included a Charity Poker tournament to raise funds for the couples’ autism organization, Generation Rescue. 

Jenny’s son Evan had been diagnosed with autism in 2005 and she has been an activist in finding a cause and cure ever since. 
Funny man, Jim told the press,

“This is so important. Everyone knows someone who has been touched by autism. It’s important to know that there is hope.”

 

Jake leaves his Los Angeles home to visit the final four women’s hometowns.

Jake’s first stop is New York to visit Gia and her family. The couple take in the Big Apple’s sites on a romantic boat ride down the Hudson River. During their excursion, Jake learns about Gia’s insecurities.  She was in a bad relationship and her ex-boyfriend cheated on her.  She’s hesitant to get involved but decides to give it a shot with Jake and he of course has her heart. 

 At a Manhattan restaurant, Jake meets Gia’s protective family.   Her family seems to like Jake.

Next Jake goes to Williamstown, Massachusetts to see Ali.   This is a bittersweet trip home for Ali.   The last time she visited her hometown was for her grandmother’s funeral.   At dinner with her family, Ali is most concerned about her mother’s opinion.   In the past, her mom has been able to tell which of Ali’s boyfriends were right for her by seeing how they act together. Ali’s mom not only approves of Jake – she is wowed by him too.  Ali tells Jake that if he asked her to marry him right now she would say YES!!

Next up for Jake is Newberg, Oregon, to meet Tenley and her family.   Having been burned by her ex-husband in the past, Tenley grills Jake about what he would be like as a husband.   Her ex let his family run his life.  Jake tells Tenley that he values his parents advice because they have always given him such good advice.

The couple pay a visit to Tenley’s old dance studio where Tenley dances for Jake.  Her ex never saw her dance.  Tenley feels like she has given Jake a gift.  A look inside her soul.  Jake loves the dancing and the couple do a waltz.

The couple head off to meet her family. Jake is the first guy Tenley has brought home since her divorce, and they need to ask him some very tough questions. But Jake also has some things on his mind. He wants them to assure him that Tenley is over her divorce and ready for a new relationship.  Keep Reading »

This week’s episode of ‘The Bachelor’ looks like a good one.  For the first time in Bachelor history there is no rose ceremony.  Why is that??

Jake leaves his Los Angeles home for an exciting, emotionally charged journey across the country to visit the final four women’s hometowns.

The Super Bowl is supposed to be about football but in recent years the advertising has become just as hyped as the game itself.

Not to disappoint us – Jay Leno, David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey got together to make a commercial.  A funny commercial.

And just in case you haven’t heard – the Saints beat the Colts with a score of 31 -17.
